Andrew Nibe, D.V.M., Owner
Large and Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, Embryo Transfer
Dr. Andrew "Dewey" Nibe was born and raised on a crop & livestock farm near Blairsburg, Iowa. After graduating from Northeast Hamilton High School, he pursued a college education at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls. He attended Iowa State University where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and then graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. He has exclusive experience in cow/calf production medicine as well as small animal medicine and surgery. Dr. Nibe processes cattle at the Russell Livestock Market. In his spare time he enjoys following the Chicago Cubs, fishing and spending time on his farm with his family. He is married to Dr. Kelli Nibe and
they currently live on a farm in Melrose with their daughters Claire and Amelia.

Ryan Howard, D.V.M., Owner
Large and Small Animal Medicine
Dr. Ryan Howard is originally from Moulton, Iowa. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University. He completed his Doctorate from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2012. Dr.
Howard enjoys working with both large and small animals. In his free time, Ryan enjoys being outdoors and hunting. He enjoys spending time with his wife Briana and their four kids Kaison, Keadon, Keplan and Kensley.

Clint Hodson D.V.M., Owner
Small and Large Animal Medicine
Dr. Clint Hodson graduated from Indianola High School in 2006, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University in 2010, and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State in 2014. He grew up on a farm in Ackworth, Iowa, where his dad raised bucking bulls for rodeos. Dr. Hodson enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He processes cattle
at the Knoxville Regional Livestock Market, and treats both small and large animals at our Knoxville location.

Lisa Gronewold, D.V.M.
Small Animal Medicine and Surgery
Dr. Lisa Gronewold is a 2001 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in 1997. Dr. Gronewold practices small animal medicine and surgery in our Albia office. She has a special interest in small animal orthopedic
surgeries. Dr. Gronewold grew up on her family’s farm near Genoa, NE. She spent one year practicing at the Greene Veterinary Clinic in Greene, IA before moving to Albia in 2002. She and her husband, Nate, have two daughters. In her free time, Dr. Gronewold enjoys spending time with her family doing 4-H activities, attending their kids’ sporting events and activities, and helping on their farm. They have
a Great Pyrenees, Cozmo, and a cat, Carlos.

Kelli Nibe, D.V.M.
Small Animal Medicine and Surgery
Dr. Kelli Nibe was raised on a farm near Hubbard, Iowa. She completed her undergraduate studies at Ellsworth Community College and Iowa State University. She graduated from Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Nibe works in Oskaloosa specializing in small animal medicine and surgery.
Kelli is married to Dr. Andrew Nibe. They currently live on a farm in Melrose with their daughters Claire, and Amelia.

Trisha Webb, D.V.M.
Small and Large Animal Medicine
Dr. Trisha Webb graduated from high school in Pleasantville, IA where she grew up on a farm. She received her undergraduate degree and D.V.M. at Iowa State University, where she graduated in May 2018. She also received her M.P.H. from the University of Iowa in May 2018. Trisha enjoys working with both large and small animals, rotating between the Knoxville and Oskaloosa clinics. She lives in Oskaloosa with her husband Brock and enjoys hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Laura Heiser, D.V.M.
Small and Large Animal Medicine
Dr. Laura Heiser joined the Animal Health Center family in July of 2019. She is originally from New Jersey, but fell in love with the Midwest and decided to stay in Iowa after receiving her D.V.M. at Iowa State University. Laura works with both large and small animal medicine and surgery. She rotates between all of our Animal Health Center clinics. Laura is a Disney fanatic and tries to go to all the parks as often as she can. She enjoys Zumba and spending time outside with her chocolate lab, Bella.

Brette Ratliff, D.V.M.
Small Animal Medicine & Surgery
Dr. Brette Ratliff joined the Animal Health Center family in June of 2020. She grew up in White House, TN (just north of Nashville), and received her D.V.M. at the University of Tennessee. Growing up, Brette had always been interested in agriculture and science, especially animal health. She got her passion from her father who taught agriculture education at her local high school and was raised to appreciate farmers, livestock, and other four-legged companions. Brette is married and has a mutt who is very spoiled. She enjoys being outdoors doing activities like hiking, kayaking, being on the lake, and gardening. Brette works mainly at our Ottumwa clinic, focusing on small animal medicine and surgery. She hopes to strengthen the human-animal bond and looks forward to serving the state of Iowa.

Ethan Nunnally, D.V.M.
Large & Small Animal Medicine & Surgery
Dr. Ethan Nunnally joined Animal Health Center in June of 2020, and mainly works at our Albia location. Ethan grew up with cows and has always been interested in agriculture. He knew he wanted to be a veterinarian since he was a little kid. Ethan went to veterinary school at the University of Georgia and is married to Dr. Megan Nunnally who also works at our Albia clinic. They have a German Shepherd named Maddux. Ethan enjoys hunting, fishing, woodworking, and playing with his dog.

Megan Nunnally, D.V.M.
Large & Small Animal Medicine & Surgery
Dr. Megan Nunnally joined Animal Health Center in June of 2020, and primarily works at our Albia clinic. Megan is originally from Brooklet, GA, and went to University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens, GA. Growing up, she has always loved animals and wanted a career working with them. She also has a strong passion for the agricultural industry and working with livestock producers. Megan is married to Dr. Ethan Nunnally who also works at our Albia clinic. Megan has a Quarter Horse mare named Sage and a German Shepherd named Maddux. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking, fishing, painting, and hanging out with her husband and friends.

Beth
General Manger - Beth joined the clinic in January of 2005. She lives on a farm in Corydon, IA with her husband, Joel and their four kids, Aiden, Cooper, Keenan & Allyson. She has 2 dogs & 1 cat. Her favorite dog breed is the Great Pyrenees. She enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, fashion, boating and vacationing in warm and sunny places! Beth's favorite colors are red and yellow, mainly because she is a die-hard Cyclone fan! She loves traveling between the clinics & meeting with everyone each week.Amanda
Office Manager - Amanda started at the clinic in 2004. She lives in Blakesburg and graduated from Albia high school. Her favorite breed is the Labrador Retriever and she has 4 animals. She enjoys spending time with her husband Ross and son Mason. Her favorite color is red. She likes coming to work and the people she works with.Sharon
Receivables - Sharon started working at the clinic in August, 2006. Originally from Eddyville, she has lived in Albia for the past 52 years with her husband Larry. She lives on a farm north of Albia where they feed cattle and have 4 donkeys & 11 barn cats. She has 2 daughters, 3 grandsons, 2 great grandsons & 1 great granddaughter. She enjoys going to the grandkids activites, her flower gardens, & traveling and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes. She enjoys working at the clinic and meeting new people.Brittney
Receptionist – Brittney is from Corning, Iowa and attended Iowa State University. She lives on a farm with her husband, Landon, and kids, Tucker and Neleigh, where they raise Simmental cattle and Boer goats. She enjoys showing their goats and cattle while spending time with friends at the shows. Her favorite vacation spot is the Iowa State Fair. Her favorite thing about working at the clinic is being around the animals, meeting new people, and learning something new every day!Amy
Vet Assistant/Kennel Tech - Amy started at the clinic in November of 2008. She is from Albia and went to Kirkwood College after graduating from Albia High School. Her favorite breed is the Shih Tzu. She enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, and the color purple. She has one pet named Nestle. What she loves best about working at the clinic is helping animals and educating clients.Paige
Kennel Manager: Paige graduated from Eddyville, IA, where she grew up. She then graduated from Indian Hills Community College in May 2013, & from Iowa State University in December 2015. Paige started at the Albia clinic in January 2016, transferred to the Ottumwa clinic in May 2017, and then re-joined the Albia clinic in 2019. She lives in Eddyville with a sassy dog, Roxy, and a sassier cat, Rowena. Her favorite thing about working at the clinic is getting to know all the boarding animals.Donnie
Estates Manager & Large Animal Vet Tech - Donnie has been at the clinic since October 2006. He is from Blakesburg, IA and graduated from Eddyville/Blakesburg High School. He has 12 animals and his favorite breed is the Labrador Retriever. He enjoys fishing and hunting and vacationing at the lake. His favorite thing about working at the clinic is the satisfaction when each job is complete. We are extremely thankful for Donnie and his service for his country and grateful for his return!Stefanie
Bookkeeper- Stefanie is from Seymour. She went to Indian Hills Community College and later transferred to Graceland University. She owns 2 dog, farm cats, and several cows. Her favorite animals are cows, cats and dogs. Stefanie loves spending time with her husband, Marcus, and their 3 kids. Her favorite vacation would be to relax at home or doing something fun with the kids. Stefanie’s loves to work at the clinic because she loves what she does and the people she works with!Myndi
Myndi is Albia’s part-time kennel manager. Before joining Garver’s, she has 6 ½ years of exotic animal husbandry experience in the zoo field. She has 5 pets of her own and her favorite vacation is hiking in Colorado.Natalie
Groomer: Natalie lives in Russell, Iowa on a farm.She attended Pleasantville High School and Iowa State University. Her favorite animal is the Poodle. She owns 6 dogs (Standard Poodle Gunner, Red Fox lab Ellie, Golden Retriever Winnie, English Golden Retriever Ella, Miniature Poodle Trigger, Bernese Mountain Dog Kimber) and a 3 legged cat named MJ. Her favorite part about working at the clinic is the people and the animals.
